The first systems of writing developed and used by the Norse and other Germanic peoples were runic alphabets. The runes functioned as letters, but they were much more than just letters in the sense in which we today understand the term. Each rune was an ideographic or pictographic symbol of some cosmological principle or power, and to write a rune was to invoke and direct the force for which it stood. 

Eihwaz, “yew.” Phoneme: I pronounced like “Eye.” Meaning: strength, stability.

Meaning: divinity, higher self, the state of listening, protective teaching force, the divine plan, Valkyries, protection, safety, spirituality, Connection with the gods, awakening, higher life, protection.

Black Onyx- Onyx is strength-giving and imparts protective energies. It provides support in difficult or confusing circumstances and during times of mental and physical stress. This stone promotes vigor, steadfastness and stamina. Onyx has the ability to alleviate fears and worries and balances the energies of the body creating centeredness and being fully present in the moment to achieve your goals.

Pyrite- This mineral possesses a defending quality and is an excellent preventive which will shield one from many forms of negative energy. Having pyrite on ones person brings in a protective, shielding aspect which blocks negativity and protects one while performing dangerous work. Pyrite encourages the ideals of healthy body, intellect, and emotional well-being.

The RUNE pendants are made from Titanium, brass and copper. All other metal including the clasp is Sterling Silver. Necklace length varies between 20 and 22 inches. I select the gemstones and design each necklace individually, and one at a time.

DAILY CARE INSTRUCIONS:
You don’t want to sleep with your necklace on. You should be taking it off every night before bed.
Don’t repeatedly take it in the shower, lake, ocean. etc. etc. It is a piece of jewelry. If you do not follow these instructions the wire that the beads are strung on will wear out and you will need to have it repaired sooner rather than later. All jewelry needs to restrung/repaired from time to time depending how often/haw hard you wear it. It could be 10 years. It could be 2 years. Please remember, it is a piece of jewelry. Treat it as such!
