Titanium St. Michael Pendant Scorched Finish

“And the great dragon was cast down”
This pendant bears the mark of fire titanium scorched black, with flashes of brass and pewter breaking through like light piercing smoke.
The flame did not consume it. It tempered it. Like St. Michael driving Satan into the pit, this piece carries the scars of battle as proof of triumph.
Stronger for the fire. Darker for the struggle.

SCORCHED ARMOR/BLACK CORD
There is a lot of randomness with these finishes. Each pendant is unique.
I have an appreciation of things that survive fire, have marks,  but are otherwise structural unscathed.  Some are completely dark. Some have blackened shields with light surfaces.
I like to think that each person gets what is meant for them to have.

I subscribe to the idea that an Archangel would be better represented by a symbol rather than an illustration of a man.
The pendant is a visual representation of Gods promise to send Archangel Michael to defeat Satan in the End of Days as it is written.

QUIS UT DEUS - "Who is like God?" was the cry of Archangel Michael when he defeated the rebel Lucifer in the conflict of the heavenly hosts.
And when Antichrist shall have set up his kingdom on earth, it is St Michael who will unfurl once more the standard of the cross, sound the last trumpet,
bind together the false prophet and the beast and hurl them for all eternity into the burning pool.

SPECS: Titanium 1.4 in. high 1/16 thick
